- Event Description
This retreat has the opportunity to be a pivotal moment. For me, staying at this venue in 2018 resulted in profound shifts in health awareness and spiritual connection.
The beautiful location, nestled between the turquoise Arabian ocean, white sands, emerald backwaters, and lush forest allows you to fully immerse in nature, retreating from the business of normal life and into serenity. This creates time for reflection, time to stop, time to simply be.
Sally will lead a programme rich in content, rooted in yoga philosophy, and underpinned by over 3 decades of practice, 10 years of teaching and many many trainings.
The retreat will include morning and evening yoga practice, 3 meals daily, evening gatherings, philosophy, breathwork, mantra, as well as an Ayurvedic consultation, 5 Ayurvedic treatments, and ayurvedic diet using fresh local produce.
The venue has a beach shala and first floor shala, a dining hall, and swimming pool. Rooms are single occupancy en suite with partial sea-view. Ayurvedic food, considered medicine and rooted in an ancient Indian approach to health, is holistic, using fresh local foods to replace caffeine, sugar, processed foods, alcohol, and meat. Accompanying the food, are ayurvedic treatments, personally prescribed to bring balance.
Cochin airport is less than an hour away and the retreat includes a transfer to save you the trouble of trying to coordinate this yourself.
Students need to have some experience of yoga, and a general level of fitness. We will be practicing sequences such as sun and moon salutations, we will be moving from floor to standing and practicing some balances. Props, adaptations, and modifications will always be offered. Options to deepen or soften will always be given where relevant. If you have any query over the suitability of the retreat for you please contact me. The retreat is not suitable if you are pregnant or have mobility limitations.
There is a minimum number for this event, if this is not reached and the event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund.
